It’s a good time to be a Robert Pattinson fan as his films are getting positive reviews. The Lozt City of Z is currently in theaters and has had a good run so far with positive reviews from viewers and critics alike.

Now, taking advantage of the good buzz A24 has announced the U.S. release date for Good Time, which starts Pattinson, for August 11.

The movie features Pattinson as a bank robber who finds himself unable to evade those who are looking for him. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Barkhad Abdi, Benny Safdie himself, Buddy Duress and Taliah Webster co-star. And by the way, the music of the film has been written by American experimental artist Oneohtrix Point Never (you can stream some of his work below). Being as it will premiere at the Canne Film Festival in just two weeks we finally have a full synopsis which you can read below.

After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine Nikas (Robert Pattinson) embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city’s underworld in an increasingly desperate — and dangerous — attempt to get his brother out of jail. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Constantine finds himself on a mad descent into violence and mayhem as he races against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing their lives hang in the balance.

Benny Safdie took to Twitter to say the following regarding the film score; “the score is less like Ezra and more like if @0PN took everything he learned on Rplus7, Replica, G.O.D &did a sequel to Rifts”

A24 also teased the fans late last week about an upcoming trailer dropping tomorrow.

“Next Tuesday’s sounds like a pretty good time for a trailer”

Take a look at the new stills below along with the first official poster for Good Time.
